Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Limewood handles information in Blood Sugar Logbook & Tracker (the “App”). It applies to version 1.0 and later versions unless an updated policy says otherwise.
The simple promise: no account, no ads, no analytics, and no sale of personal or health information. Your logbook stays on your device.
1. Information stored on your device
The App stores the information you choose to enter in its private local storage. This can include blood sugar readings; medicine and insulin records; meal context; activity, symptom, weight, blood pressure, ketone and A1C records; notes; reminder schedules; preferences; an optional display name; and an optional profile photo.
Limewood does not operate an App server that receives this information in version 1.0. The App does not require an account or login.
2. Information we collect
The App does not collect or transmit personal information, health information, device identifiers, usage analytics or advertising data to Limewood. We do not sell or share personal or health information for advertising.
3. Permissions and device features
- Notifications: requested only when you choose to enable reminders. Schedules and optional reminder details are used to show the reminders you create.
- Start-up scheduling: Android may allow the App to reschedule your enabled reminders after the phone restarts.
- Photo picker: used only when you choose an optional profile photo. The operating system lets you select the image.
The App does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access. It does not connect to a glucose meter, continuous glucose monitor or Health Connect in version 1.0.
4. Exports and backups
When you ask the App to create a PDF report, CSV export or JSON backup, the file is created on your device and the Android share interface opens. You decide where to save or send it. After a file leaves the App, the privacy and security practices of the destination you chose apply.
5. Retention and deletion
Local information remains until you delete individual records or reminders, restore a different backup, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Android backup is disabled for the App. Files you exported remain wherever you saved them until you delete them there.
6. Security
We reduce exposure by keeping App data locally and avoiding account, advertising and analytics SDKs. No storage method is completely risk-free. Use a device passcode, keep Android updated, and protect exports that contain sensitive information.
7. Medical information and safety
The App is a personal logbook and routine reminder tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition; calculate insulin doses; recommend medication or treatment changes; or provide emergency monitoring. Always follow advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If you believe you may be experiencing an emergency, seek immediate medical help.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for adults managing their own records or for use under the supervision of a parent, guardian or qualified healthcare professional. Because Limewood does not receive App data on a server, we do not knowingly collect children’s personal or health information through the App.
9. Third-party distribution
The App is distributed through Google Play. Google may process download, purchase, device security, crash or store-usage information under Google’s Privacy Policy. This policy covers the App’s own data practices, not Google’s services or another destination you choose for an export.
10. Changes to this policy
If the App’s data practices change, we will update this page, its “Last updated” date, and the Google Play Data safety disclosure before the change is released when required.
